Sarri has established a thriving butchery business and can comfortably support his family thanks to Caritas Czech Republic’s support

Starting a business requires management skills and money for essential tools. In areas once under ISIS control, locals find it even tougher to set up businesses. Sarri, from Al-Amiriah in Iraq, a father of three, chose to open his butchery after parting ways with his business partner. Caritas Czech Republic assisted Sarri with management training and funds for needed supplies.

He had to flee his home because of the self-proclaimed Islamic State and struggled to find a living upon his return. Thanks to our help, Meethaq now has his own business as a welder.
