Full name: “Improve living conditions and enhance safety and dignity through shelter upgrades for acutely vulnerable Out-of-Camp IDPs in Shekhan and Sumel Districts in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq”

 

Duration:September 2021-March 2022

Project Goal: The intervention aims to alleviate hardships and socio-economic vulnerability of out-of-camps IDPs living in informal settings in Dohuk Governorate. The action is a two-fold intervention: (1)Providing shelter support to the most acutely in need IDPs and (2) Improving the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene facilities of IDPs through Cash for Work. Shelter/NFIs will include: Sealing off Kits and NFI kits (including core relief items such as winterization materials). WASH will include: testing of water supply and upgrade of latrines through Cash for Work.
