Full name: Enhance Resilience of Vulnerable Communities in Anbar, Heet District
Duration: 1st of May 2021 – June 2022 (14 months)
The project will target 2600 most vulnerable people with short-term employment and skills development
trainings. On top of that, 705 vulnerable community members will be targeted with business support programme
and 50 with job placement in communities of Heet district.
Project Goal: Facilitate recovery and enhance resilience of vulnerable communities by providing short and medium-term employment opportunities to (young) men and women.
Total Budget: 5.4 Million
Donors: This project is implemented by UNDP, in partnership with Caritas Czech Republic and with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), provided through KFW Development Bank.
